Leslie’s Beautiful Smile is “Frozen” in Time!
Leslie, with hypoplastic right heart syndrome, smiled ear to ear when she had the chance to go on her dream trip to Disney World and meet all the Disney princesses, especially Elsa from Frozen.
Thank you from Leslie’s Family
“This dream trip has been a dream come true to Leslie and to our family. I have never seen Leslie so excited and happy until coming to Florida. Seeing her happy to meet the princesses, riding rides, fireworks and to see Cinderella’s castle – these were all her favorite moments at the Walt Disney World. Thank you so much for making my little girl so happy and giving her this wonderful opportunity.” – Leslie’s mom
About Leslie’s Diagnosis
Hypoplastic right heart syndrome is a rare heart defect, present at birth (congenital), that results in low blood oxygen levels. It is caused by underdevelopment of the structures on the right side of the heart (tricuspid valve, right ventricle, pulmonary valve, and pulmonary artery) and commonly associated with atrial septal defect. The underdeveloped right side of the heart is unable to provide enough blood flow to the body, leading to low blood oxygen
