The Corvette Club of Delaware Valley Presents a $4,000 Check to The Sunshine Foundation.
Feasterville, PA. -January 2011 – The Corvette Club of Delaware Valley (CCDV) through its Corvette Enthusiast Community Foundation (CECF) presented Sunshine Foundation’s Founder Bill Sample and President Kate Sample with a check in the amount of $4,000.
Since 1958 Corvette Club of Delaware Valley has been one of the more prominent Corvette Clubs on the East Coast. The Club formed a charitable arm called the Corvette Enthusiasts Community Foundation (CECF) chartered to raise money for charity. It is estimated that CCDV has raised in excess of $300,000. The Corvette Club and Community Foundation have been helping to make dreams come true for Sunshine children since 1987.
The Sunshine Foundation is a 34 year old national children’s organization started in Philadelphia by a former Philadelphia police officer Bill Sample. The Foundation’s mission is to answer the dreams of children who are chronically ill, physically challenged or abused. Sunshine has answered over 35,500 dreams in 35 years with 83% of all donations allocated to children’s program.
